Mass timber beam-column structure

The world's first ALUMEGA construction site even anticipated the launch of the new product.

The designers of CarlGustav Solutions needed to handle high forces and achieve larger spans in the beam-column systems for Permobil's new timber headquarters built by ByggDialog AB: with the connector ALUMEGA they were able to design it, and now the future takes shape.

In Sundsvall, Sweden, the 13,000 m2 mass timber building will be a zero-impact facility. ALUMEGA granted an otherwise impossible design freedom as a pinned connector with the widest tolerance among high-capacity connectors on the market.
